01/14/08 Congratulations are in order for Kevin Smith, P.E.
Kevin has just received notice from the NC Board of Engineering Examiners
about his passing grade from the Fall Mechanincal Engineering PE Exam.
Kevin is based in our Matthews office in the Process/Piping and
Mechainical Dept.
08/07/07 Perigon Employee Promotion
We would like to congratulate an important Perigon employee, Scott Totherow,
on his recent promotion to Junior Designer in our piping group. Scott is
very deserving and a real asset to Perigon.
08/01/07 Large project in Wilmington, NC is recently completed
Perigon assisted DAK Americas with engineering and design to accommodate an expansion
to their Cape Fear plant near Wilmington, North Carolina. The $65 million expansion
provides additional resin capacity.
Perigon supplemented DAK's in-house engineering resources and coordinated closely
with other selected resource suppliers directed by DAK's project management.
07/13/2007 Perigon Bar-B-Que
There is something about food, when it is good and there is plenty of it, that
brings out the kindred spirit. I suppose that is why we enjoy business lunches so much.
Here at Perigon, we eat well and often. Our location, just a short walk from Greg's,
(the best pork Bar-B-Que in town) makes good and plenty easily available.
Greg provided Bar-B-Que (locally a food group rather than method of cooking) and
fixin's for a July luncheon enjoyed by our folks at the Perigon offices in Matthews.
I have to confirm that Bar-B-Que sure does prepare the palette for Banana pudding.
Diet-maybe next week.
07/09/2007 Perigon Summer Picnic Plans are Complete
The picnic will be held on August 26 from 1 until 5 at the new US National
Whitewater Center located on Hawfield Drive in Charlotte. Food will be provided
by the The Eddy Cafe (at the park). Employees can raft, kayak, climb,
bike, or just have fun socializing at this truly one-of-a-kind facility that Perigon

06/22/2007 Perigon / Red Cross Blood Drive Another Big Success
14 units were donated on Tuesday, June 19 at our Matthews office. Thanks to all who
participated.
5/07/2007 Perigon is awarded the University of South Carolina Biomass Boiler
Operations and Maintenance Documentation/Startup Project.
Perigon will be subcontracted through our partner, Johnson Controls
Inc. to create detailed O&M Manuals for the safe start-up and
long-term operaton and maintenance of this new facility that will
convert woodchip biomass to electricity for export to the local
electric utility. We will provide project startup services for a
targeted September 2007 plant startup.
3/21/2007 We are pleased to announce that Todd Kilsdonk has joined
Perigon as Director Business Development.

enthusiasm to our new business growth initiative and will enhance
