Perigon provided all engineering and design for this 91,500 sf manufacturing and distribution facility which was built to consolidate processes from several other Henkel sites.
Perigon’s design scope of work included civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process piping design. Civil design for the project encompassed 13 acres of virgin property requiring new entrance roads, storm water management and a major stream crossing.
The buildings incorporated within the warehouse, a three-hour fire rating between building occupancies, employee locker rooms, lunch canteen, and management offices. The project met a 6-1/2 month design completion target within budget.
Balance-of-Plant design of a 24MW Gas & Diesel Power Plant
This Solar Turbines, Inc. / North Carolina Municipal Power Agency (NCMPA1) Peaking Power Plant is located in Monroe, NC
Perigon provided complete Balance-of-Plant system design including construction documents and construction support for the installation of twin Solar Turbines, Inc. 15MW Gas Turbines with 13.8kV synchronous generators and supporting systems.
The facility generators connect to the electrical distribution grid to provide peak demand power generation.
The BOP design included complete underground conduit bank distribution (3D modeled), underground piping, steel, foundations, site (stormwater & erosion control), interconnection wiring, area lighting, cathodic protection, lightning protection, and ground grid.
Perigon International has completed the startup phase of a new filtration system in Guiyang, Guizhou, China
After providing the detail engineering and design services for a filtration project with BHS-Filtration Inc. Perigon senior process automation engineer, Stephen Patterson, (see picture on right) traveled to Guiyang in the Guizhou province of China to startup and checkout the equipment and control system after it was constructed and installed.
The filtration system uses candle filters from BHS to remove particulate fines from an acid gas scrubbing solution.
Perigon provided piping, mechanical, structural electrical and process automation engineering services in support of our client.
The focus of the startup was the control system and its interaction with the equipment. For this project the client specified a system based on the Siemens S7-300 Series of PLC coupled with a Xycom industrial PC running Citect SCADA software. Perigon provided the control system electrical design, the programming of the PLC and the development of the HMI screens for the project.
